About the JLPT N2

The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 is the upper-intermediate certification for Japanese language learners. Many Japanese companies require N2 for employment.

Exam schedule: Held twice a year (July and December) worldwide

Passing score: 90/180 points (50%). You must also meet the minimum score requirement in each section — you cannot pass by scoring high in one section alone.
