About the JLPT N3

The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N3 is the intermediate certification for Japanese language learners.

Exam schedule: Held twice a year (July and December) worldwide

Passing score: 95/180 points (about 53%). You must also meet the minimum score requirement in each section — you cannot pass by scoring high in one section alone.
